Stephen valued education and took great pride in his academic achievements. A graduate of H.D. His dedication to learning was evident in his own success and in the encouragement he gave his children and loved ones to strive for excellence.

As a Federal Contractor at the Library of Congress, Stephen was a hardworking and dedicated professional. His contributions and commitment to his team left a lasting impact on his colleagues, reflecting his strong work ethic and passion for his role.

Above all, Stephen was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. His children and grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he dedicated his life to ensuring they felt loved and supported. He also shared a deep and unbreakable bond with his siblings, nieces, and nephews, always fostering unity and love among them. Known as the family peacekeeper, his famous words were, "Can't we all just get along?" which will forever be cherished.

Stephen had a kind and gentle spirit, extending not only to people but also to animals. His love for all creatures, big and small, was a true testament to his compassion. He was also known for his infectious sense of humor, bringing joy to everyone he encountered through his jokes, dance moves, and warm presence. He was truly the life of the party.

A passionate football fan, Stephen remained loyal to his beloved Washington Commanders through every season. His unwavering positivity, strength, and love for life left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Stephen's memory will be cherished by his daughters Paris LaNee' and London Renay Bell. His son, Anthony Jackson.  His grandchildren, Sevyn and Adrian Rousseau III.  His sisters, Jamette Bell, Yvette Bell-Allen (Lavell,) LaShaun Bell-Shorter (Ralph,) Chemaye Bell-Perry (Corey,) Charlee Bell-Smith (Kevin,) Loretta Sparrow (James,) Michelle Davis (Johnnie,) and Jennifer Greene.  His brothers, Matthew Bell and Daniel Greene (Gianni.) Also 18 nephews, 16 nieces, 21 great-nephews, and 7 great-nieces, one great-great-nephew, and a host of loving family and friends.
