The world has never seen anyone as Loyal, Genuine, Fashionable, and filled with so much love as  Lestina Amanda Crawford. Born to Lester B. Rudd & The Late Ivy M. Crawford-Rudd on January 8, 1992 in Washington, DC. Amanda passed away suddenly on Friday, May 3, 2024 — Leaving behind a grieving family and community.

Amanda began her academic career in Washington, D.C., and completed it in Laurel, MD. She worked several jobs in retail sales at the Nationals Ballpark, and then started her teaching career. Amanda built a long-lasting foundation and family at City Arts & Prep Public Charter School. She ended her career working for National Presbyterian School as a Kindergarten educator in Washington, D.C., where she was affectionately known as Ms. Crawford. No matter the job, Amanda brought delight, dedication, integrity, and love to shine bright as the overachiever she was.

Amanda found joy in caring for her nieces, nephews, and goddaughters as if they were her own. She cherished every moment spent with family, nurturing bonds and creating lasting memories. Amanda's adventurous spirit led her to explore new places where she found delight in traveling and discovering the beauty of the world around her.

A connoisseur of leisure activities such as dining out, shopping, and playing cards — she brought laughter and joy to every gathering she attended. Her vibrant personality and warm heart was imprinted on all who knew her, leaving an everlasting mark on the lives she touched.

Amanda was preceded in death by her mother, the late Ivy M. Crawford-Rudd. She is survived by her father Lester B. Rudd, Her loving siblings: Tiffany "Tee" Crawford Fells, Lakesha "Kee Kee" Crawford, Sharece "Commissioner Rece" Crawford, Emory "Face" Seace Jr. and Brother -in- Law Kenneth J."Kenn"Fells.

Although Amanda did not have children her children from the heart were disguised as her nieces and nephews: Brittany "Chick" Proctor-Fells, Elise "Nu Nu" Crawford, Elijah "BO" Crawford, Kennedi "KK" Fells, Kenneth "Mook" Crawford and God Daughter, Rylee Fields.

Amanda's Aunts and Uncles: Cheryl Speight, Kent Crawford, George Crawford, Lestina "Aunt Tina" Kennedy and Kevin Kennedy. Amanda's Special Person: Travis Evans, Best friends: Nay Nay, Aryca, Ashley, and Ernie. Special friends: Neka, Tay, Tee, Danny, Adrienne, and host of other family & friends.

Lestina Amanda Crawford will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, forever cherished in our hearts.
